Do you remove tissue when you improve on a long nose?

What is a nasal packing? Is it used to fix a broken nose?

Nasal packing is put inside the nose after the rhinoplasty operation. This material is meant to put a light pressure on the nose and minimize the bleeding. Many rhinoplasty doctors do not use this technique. Bleeding can be reduced by good rhinoplasty techniques.

How many days after rhinoplasty operation before the swelling of the nose and surrounding area disappear?

Answer:
It will take at least 7 to 10 days before the swelling of the affected area disappears. By the first week, you can already see the improvement. Although the swelling is reduced though, the wound and incision will not be totally healed until a few months after. In most cases it takes up to one year for the swelling to totally disappear.
